Suno V6 is now available on VEGA
Suno released V6 on September 9, 2026. It is a new generation of music models developed with industry partners including Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe. All three V6 models are now available on vega.chat.
Three models for different needs
V6 is not a single model. Suno split it into three, each aimed at a different kind of user.
V6 is the flagship. It is reliable and precise, and it produces polished results across genres and styles. When you know what you want, V6 gets you there. On vega.chat it corresponds to the V6 model ID.
V6-wild is built for exploration. It is less predictable and more varied, producing textured and sometimes unexpected results. You can use it to find new ideas, then bring them back into V6 for refinement. On vega.chat it corresponds to V6_WILD.
V6-mini is the faster, more efficient version. It turns an idea into a song quickly and produces better results than any previous free model on the platform. On vega.chat it corresponds to V6_MINI and is available to all users.
Across all three, V6 understands more of the language musicians use: vocals, instrumentation, song structure, mood, references, and the overall feel of a track. You can communicate a complex vision, explore directions, and refine details without switching tools.
New creative controls
V6 adds several ways to shape a track that were not possible before.
You can edit part of an existing song using plain language. Change one section while keeping everything else intact. For example: "Change the chorus so it's sung by a gospel choir."
You can build a mashup from multiple sources in a single request. Combine elements from different songs and describe how they should fit together. For example: "Take the vocals from x, drums from y, and add new lyrics about losing control, make it 80s synthwave."
You can sample, isolate, and build a new beat in one workflow. For example: "Sample the riff at 0:45, isolate the guitar, build a beat around it."
You can create from a vibe, genre, or mix of inspirations. V6 can read the feeling behind a reference and use it as a starting point for something original. For example: "Make a song that feels like midnight on a rooftop."
You can create with text, audio, images, and video. Start from a written idea, a voice memo, a visual, or a video clip and turn it into music. For example: "Make a song based on this image, this audio, and my journal entry."
You can update a single lyric without rebuilding the entire song. Change one word or line and leave the rest alone. For example: "Change the lyric from 'love' to 'light.'"
What VEGA users get
On vega.chat, all three V6 models are live now. You can generate tracks up to 360 seconds long with custom lyrics up to 5,000 characters, style descriptions up to 1,000 characters, and titles up to 100 characters. Each generation request returns two track variants.
V6 replaces the previous generation of Suno models on vega.chat. The older V5.5, V5, and V4-series models remain available for backward compatibility, but Suno is retiring them and new generations will use V6 exclusively.
How to try it
- Log in to your account on vega.chat.
- Open the Music tool and pick a model: V6, V6-wild, or V6-mini.
- Describe what you want in plain language, paste lyrics, or upload a reference.
